Perfectionism, vivid colour, abundance, sexuality, eyes, and darkness return again and again in my work. I’m drawn to contrast: precision against chaos, light against shadow, excess against restraint.

The message you are not alone is as much for me as it is for anyone else. I paint subjects I’m still trying to accept and understand. The work is a mirror; sometimes reflecting the viewer, sometimes reflecting back at me. A way of making certain emotions and experiences feel less isolating.

Each painting begins with a clear intention but remains open to change. I work in layers, both visually and conceptually, so that meaning can shift depending on who is looking and when. Symbols aren’t decoration; they’re anchors for the imagination, hints for the curious.

I hope my paintings make someone feel recognised, in their weirdness, their joy, their pain, their contradictions.
